Mayor Benjamin Magalong has set the city's goal of becoming a Smart City by 2027 behind an urban management approach driven by innovation. The mayor cited this objective during his State of the City Address 2024 which he delivered during the 115th Baguio Charter Day Anniversary program, on September 1 at the Baguio Convention and Cultural Center. From January to August this year, the Baguio Smart City Command Center (SC3) 911 handled 42,621 calls which were mostly medical assistance, police, fire, and rescue services.
Baguio Green Group Limited is pleased to announce its unaudited interim results for the six months ended 30 June 2024 (the Period"). During the Period, the Group's revenue amounted to approximately HK$1,291.1 million, representing an increase of approximately 16.6% as compared to the same period last year, mainly due to the continued increase in revenue in the cleaning segment together with the waste management and recycling segment. Department of Agriculture (DA) officials have declared their intention to invest in the revival of abandoned and idle rice terraces in the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR).
